My best friend is sharp,
Sharper than any tack.
My best friend is big and he is small
but could make any man put his hands
up in the air in surrender.
My best friend is someone you need to be careful with
Cautious, and not careless, for he could take your life

My best friend does me favors of blood
He deals with my problems with force of hand,
He is always in demand
in war, and otherwise.
My best friend is never without a victim
whether they be innocent,
or mercenary.
My best friend loves it all the more.

My best friend is a life saver and taker
Protector or defender
it doesn't matter to him
He does it all the same.
My best friend is blood thirsty
and he is a helping hand
he doesn't make his decisions to kill or cut
You are the person who bleeds,
fights
and grieves.

My Best friend does me a favor now,
his blade at my vital blood saver.

Gliding effortlessly through and across my neck.
I don't need to waver
Because now I'm free of the bleeding
the fighting
and the memories of the people
who have died at our hands.
I am not a lifeless husk,
like all the others
the light dying from my eyes as I am freed.

My best friend falls to the floor
covered in the stuff that I had drained
from my enemies
and from my lovers.
He is covered in the lovely color of red,
like ribbons,

This is an old poem I found in my writing folder, and I really like it. Of course, for the record, I AM NOT EMO. I just like writing in this fashion. I have another one Called Rain that I will post next. It's by far my favorite.

This poem has been altered a bit from the original, as when I was re-typing it I got kinda carried away...

I actually wrote this back at the beginning of the second quarter in my connections class. My P.E. Teacher thought something was wrong with me when she got it form the printer
